These former farm buildings have been converted to a very high standard retaining many original features and offering a peaceful retreat from the rigours of everyday life. The owners' home has been the setting for many of the 'Hearbeat' episodes with the cast and crew being familiar faces around this tiny little village, just outside Goathland. Stunning valleys and sweeping hillside views can be enjoyed from the idyllic location of these cottages. Some of Yorkshire's finest walks and cycle tracks are available from your doorstep, with quaint little villages popping up to greet you when you least expect it. It would take a lifetime to explore all the delights on offer in this wonderful part of the world. With country shows and fairs throughout the summer, you will be spoilt for choice. A short drive through stunning moorland to the historic port of Whitby where Captain James Cook set sail on his voyage of discovery, with a colourful harbour and miles of sandy beaches, making a perfect family day out. The market towns of Kirbymoorside and Helmsley just a 30 minute drive. Or board the old steam train in Grosmont and take the memorable journey through the Esk Valley as it steams its way to the historic market town of Pickering. Shops and restaurants 2 miles, hill down to pub 600 yards.

Beck Hole is a small village just one mile from Goathland, the setting for YTV's 'Heartbeat'. The village is protected from heavy traffic and coaches by 1-in-4 (25%) hills with twisty bends to catch out the unwary. The farm itself is at the top of one of the hills and easily accessible by road. This makes it a quiet, peaceful area to relax and unwind in. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs just yards away from the farm. For those worried about losing sleep, the trains only run during the daytime. The shops in Goathland are open on Sundays, for minor supplies. Whitby is just 6 miles away, with Sandsend being a couple of miles further up the coast. There are several good restaurants within easy driving distance, ask us and we'll point you in the right direction.
